I just found out from my consultant that Prescriptives has been dropped from the Estee Lauder group and will stop shipping new products in November. I currently use the All Minerals liquid and powder foundation. I need something with a medium to full coverage that is oil free. I also have uncommon coloring, so the line must have a wide range of shades.
I do not like MAC’s or Bare Minerals’ foundations. I have heard good things about the Armani foundation. Anyone with a really great foundation out there?
Any suggestions besides Clinique? I have never been a fan of the line. I used Super Fit in high school and was never that impressed with it.
I will look into the Make Up Forever HD foundations. It seems to have really good reviews.

As the economic crisis worsens and layoffs and business closures continue, a little know fact emerges … the Baltic Dry Index (Shipping) dropped 93% in November 2008. My sticky note here says, "No Imports + No Exports = No economy."
Retail outlets, such as Malls will fail and close. Manufacturing will fail. Followed by Distribution Entities. Followed by the failing and closure of related entities.
Shipping is coming to a halt. In other words, America is becoming Isolated. Thus, what we have now is all we get. (Think there’s enough Domestic Products to go around?)
Once Deflation dissolves all of the Imported products out there, Inflation will take hold of the Domestic items and services. Prices will go way up. (It’s a Demand, thing.) Not to mention, OPEC reduced oil production by 2.2 mbd. – Can’t wait to see the prices at the pump going up soon … then again … then again, as our demand for oil decreases because of business closures.
Don’t like your job? Give it a couple months. You might be wishing you had a job soon. But, hindsight is 20/20 you know how that goes.

I am a single, disabled, stay home mom of three trying to make ends meet and freebies help us alot when we are down to the last drop of shampoo or laundry detergent. I was wondering if anyone knew the best freebie sites that have actually freebies, not with shipping and handling fees, or the ones where you sign up and pay later, or those with a credit card requirement. I have no credit cards and don’t believe in them. Somebody told me once of a freebie site where you get actual sized products and not sample sized. Any ideas? Thanks from another mommy.

I purchased a computer from an online retailer and decided that it wasn’t for me. I returned the product and received a full refund. The retailer keeps sending me replacement computers without my request, and I’ve already returned one and told them to stop sending them to me. I just received another one today.
If I wanted to return it, then I would have to (a) wait on hold for customer service, (b) have them do a RMA, (c) repackage the shipment, and (d) wait at home until shipper picks it up or I drop it off at shipper. That is a whole lot of time out of my day for something that the retailer made a mistake on.
They have not charged me for it. Am I obligated by California or Federal law to return the product that I never requested?
If you are able to, could you please cite the legal authority. Thanks.

O.k., I am starting a website and need to know where good Fashion/Accessory/Clothing… Drop-shippers are. I need legit and reliable. IF you know of any that would be great.
Also if you know of any branding companies that ship your products out from there headquarters that would be great, By branding i mean personalized items( Clothing, coffee mugs, pens, totes…) with your logo or name on them.
I was told that there are companies out there that could personalize the items your request send you the pictures, and you post them on your website and when someone places an order you send it end.
Examples…

I purchased a product from a company over the internet in florida (33610) UPS sent me a confirmation email on December 29, 2009 (tuesday) that billing info had been recieved. On wednesday the company sent me an email stating the package was in UPS hands and repeated the tracking number sent to me by UPS. now every day since the day i recieved the email it has said on the website "Billing information has been sent to UPS. Check site later for updated shipment status or contact shipper for more details". how long does it take UPS to recognize that they have recieved the package. Thats all i want to know. cuz ups is notorious for drop, ring, and run (they just drop the package on the doorstep, ring the door bell and sprint back to there truck) and i need to plan my schedule on when it will be delivered so it does not get left out for someone to steal or get destroyed by the snow. Any help??

I’m 27 yrs old living in New York. I’ve studied Graphic Design ( basic) Currently trying Interior Design. I’ve worked for over 7 years in the Fashion industry as a handbag designer. I’m okay at it, but I can only sketch over a picture, meaning my hand sketching abilities aren’t that great, and looking at the product and sketching it on the computer is a bit worse. I can get creative when its something new and that I will enjoy. After working more than one day on something it gets boring and I start losing interest in it. I can get the job done, but I can’t put all my efforts in it. My fashion sense is not that great. I did not study Fashion and I could care less what is todays trend. Right now I’m working as a production designer and its quite boring. Don’t get me wrong I do like this kind of job, but I wish it wasn’t so repetitive.
I have a tendency to want to try new things, but as soon as its a bit difficult or long I start losing interest, so I drop it and start something else. That’s how I dropped Interior Design after 6 months. I love Interior Design but my sketching ability makes it hard to enjoy it. There are other things I would like to try like cartoon/manga/anime artist/designer. I want to be a designer, but I don’t want to have to go through so many courses to find the right one. I enjoy packaging ( not packaging design), but physically building the box, and adding whatever product and shipping it. (although this I would like for it to be my own products designed by me)
Anyways, you can see how my mind is wondering all over on this. I need to stand on solid ground and somewhere where to look. There are so many courses I would like to take, or jobs to apply to but I don’t have the experience or the money for it. Therefore I always back down. I need a push into the right direction.
Thank you for reading.

I am in the process of starting an on line business. I will be selling products and shipping them out. I will be using a drop-shipper.
The problem is that in order to use most of them you need to show where you have all of your paperwork in order.
I have gone on line and found some of the things I need but most of them aren’t very clear on what they want (information, etc.), and very little, if any, of it comes with instructions or explanations.
Could someone please point me in the right direction?
I went to a lawyer and HE told me that I could do it all myself.

Ok, I plan to have customers pay me through Paypal (I know). Since I’m drop shipping I need to have the funds from the buyers available in my bank account to be charge by my vendors in which of course I would hold the difference. But the problem is that it could take up to 3 business days for the transfer to take place in which would add time on to when my customer would receive their product.
Should I
A: Keep a certain amount in my Bank account to be charged automatically but refunded later by funds in paypal..(but may be a nightmare when trying to track high sales)
B: Just wait the 3 days until funds are transfered to bank account and then send purchase to vendor ( which would upset customers who are looking for fast deliveries)
EXTRA notes: for now I have only the option of using paypal or google check out. I don’t want a check or credit card account with paypal .
