A Perpetual Water

One of the greatest attributes of Zamzam is that it will never dry up. This is a gift from Allaah to Makkah and to its pilgrims. Ibn ‘Abbaas narrated that the Prophet said: "… May Allaah bestow his mercy upon her (Hagar, the mother of Ismaa’eel), had she let go (of the water of Zamzam) it would have become a spring (rather than a well) whose water shall never dry." [Ahmad]

Every year, millions upon millions of pilgrims drink Zamzam water, which has been around for thousands of years. It is fed daily to the Prophet’s mosque in Madeenah in large quantities, and is packaged and shipped to millions of Muslims worldwide, without the slightest blemish in its flow. It is the epitome of munificence; the more we drink, the more it gives.

If so, why does the Saudi Geological Survey pump water and store it?
From wikipedia with sources: the underground aquifer that supplies water to the well only has an area of 60 square kilometres, and during extended periods of dry weather, the water levels drop. In order to ensure that there is enough Zamzam water for the pilgrims, the water is pumped out from the well and stored in storage tanks at the basement level during off-peak seasons. During the pilgrimage season, the stored water together with additional water drawn from the subterranean water table around the Zamzam well are pumped into water dispensers for the benefit of the pilgrims.

Does that mean it can deplete??

Hello, I’m currently at Fort Jackson, SC at Reception waiting to be shipped off to AIT. The school is about 9 weeks long. Now the situation is that I am also a reservist who starts school on August 25. Now I doubt that they will fast track my training, but is there anyway that I can return before the first day of college?

I’ve already had people try to contact my professors and tell them of my situation, and hopefully I won’t be dropped from my classes or school entirely.

But I’m still hoping if it was possible to get a mandatory return date from some source and show it to my commander or 1sg when I get to my AIT unit?

Please, serious answers only.
I apologize, let me rephrase that. I don’t want to be sent home to retrain again. Because that’s pretty stupid.

But from word of mouth from some of the sgt whisper talk, I hear they are fast-tracking some of the AIT schools, simply because of the summer surge, and I was wondering if I had papers, or used the open-door policy to speak with the commander, would it be possible that my AIT school would be fast-tracked as well? Some of the other 44c in my company (reception, mind you) have the same situation.

Hello everyone. I am setting up a Yahoo store. I want to use drop-shipping suppliers, that is, the products I sell are going to be sent directly to the customers from the manufacturer or distributor or wholesaler (whoever stores the products). I want the customer to be able to enter his or her credit card information, address, etc. on my Yahoo store site, and then have that information automatically be sent to the supplier. This way I will be able to choose the product I want to sell, post it once on my Yahoo store site, then never have to do anything else. I want to be able to "set it, and forget it." Can you help me with this. Thank you very much.
I also need to know what the best way of choosing the suppliers is, and how to go about doing that. I want to sell health food, nutritional supplements, books and DVD’s on health, fitness, nutrition, psychology, and business.

Is it true that the zamzam well will never dry up?
A Perpetual Water

One of the greatest attributes of Zamzam is that it will never dry up. This is a gift from Allaah to Makkah and to its pilgrims. Ibn ‘Abbaas narrated that the Prophet said: "… May Allaah bestow his mercy upon her (Hagar, the mother of Ismaa’eel), had she let go (of the water of Zamzam) it would have become a spring (rather than a well) whose water shall never dry." [Ahmad]

http://www.sgs.org.sa/index.cfm?sec=311&sub=325&page=

Why would they pump it if it was never gonna run dry? There’d be no need?
Blue Eyes

And because you’d go crazy if God were true. I’ll be laughing on that day. I’ve read the evil emails you sent me. Stay away from me and my questions.

When I joined the DEP I was located East of the Mississippi. My mom (who is in the military) got orders to the West coast… seeing as I live with her I have to go with her.

My original recruiter says that I would have to fly all the way back to Florida a month prior to my ship date for MEPS and go to MCRD Parris Island.

The recruiter in the area that I am now located tells me that I can go to MCRD San Diego so I wouldn’t have to have to drop college and find a way to support myself for a month in Florida. He called it a courtesy ship or something.

Can anyone help me understand because right now my only two sources are contradicting each other. Thanks!
My entire issue was that both recruiters were telling me different things about my situation.
